Uganda is blessed with a number of forested national park that are habitats to numerous primate species including the rare mountain gorillas in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, chimpanzees in Bwindi, Kibale forest national Park, and Kyambura gorge in Queen Elizabeth National Park, the lazy leaf eating colobus monkey, patas monkey, vavet monkey. Uganda is home to half the world’s surviving mountain gorillas.
