Day One: Airport pickup
You will be met at the airport and transferred by one of our personnel to the hotel for a rest/overnight at budget-Banda Inns BB, midrange-Hotel Africana BB, upgrade-Mamba Point BB.
Day Two: Transfer to Bwindi National Park
Set off in the morning at 8.00am for Bwindi Impenetrable forest National Park. The journey takes approaximately9-10 hours. The safari takes you through the grasslands of Ankole, a common sight is the famous long horned cattle; then to the highlands of kigezi with their beautifully terraced hills. Stop over for lunch at a hotel in Kabale town arriving in Bwindi late in the evening. Dinner and overnight at budget-Bwindi View bandas BB, midrange-Buhoma homesteads FB, upgrade-Gorilla Forest Camp FB.
Day Three: Gorilla Tracking-Bwindi National Park
After an early tea or coffee with your packed lunch report to park offices for a briefing that prepares you for your tracking. Once you meet the gorillas you will spend an hour with them; the thrill of your encounter will erase the difficulties of the strenuous trek, you will enjoy the close view of adults feeding, grooming and resting as the youngsters frolic and swing from vines in a delightfully playful display. Dinner and over night at at budget-Bwindi View bandas BB, midrange-Buhoma homesteads FB, upgrade-Gorilla Forest Camp FB.
Day Four: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
After breakfast with your packed lunch drive northwards for Queen Elizabeth National Park through Ishasha Look out for the famous tree-climbing lions in this part of the park. The drive takes you through the unique western rift valley escarpment and arrive in time for an evening game drive to the crater area for an out standing scenery of the rich grassland set deep into volcanic craters and where you are able to view some wildlife. The park boasts of a variety of big game like Lions, Buffaloes, Kobs, Elephants, Bushbucks, and the rare occasional Leopard. Dinner and over night at at budget-Albertine Rift Safari Lodge FB, midrange-Kingfisher Kichwamba FB, upgrade-Mweya Safari Lodge FB.
Day Five: Queen Elizabeth National Park
Arise early, after a cup of tea or coffee take an optional drive to either Kyambura Gorge or Maramagambo forest for a nature walk. The trip may yield sightings of the colobus monkeys, baboons, red tailed and velvet monkeys, and other primates (This is an optional activity) Return to the lodge for lunch thereafter go for an afternoon launch cruise on the Kazinga Channel. You will be able to see hippos that huff and spray only feet away from the boat, Buffaloes, and Elephants linger in the shallows as well as a great diversity of birds. Retire for dinner and over night at budget-Albertine Rift Safari Lodge FB, midrange-Kingfisher Kichwamba FB, upgrade-Mweya Safari Lodge FB.
Day Six: Transfer to Fort Portal- Kibale National Park
After breakfast with your packed lunch transfer to Fort Portal, en-route visit the Kilembe mines to view the beautiful scenery(optional) In Fort Portal you will take an optional visit to the Toroo Kingdom palace, burial grounds and the Nyakasura area to view the Amabere ga Nyinamwiru as well as a nature walk to the crater lakes. Dinner and overnight at at budget-Rwenzori View guest House BB, midrange-Mountains of the moon hotel BB, upgrade-Kibale Primate Lodge FB.
Day Seven: Chimp tracking-Kibale National Park
After early breakfast, report at Kanyanchu Tourist Centre where tourist activities begin and there begin your chimpanzee track in the forest, look out for other primates, butterflies, and a diversity of birds. After lunch you will go for an optional nature walk to the Bigodi wetland sanctuary a superb ecotourism site developed to protect the Magombe Swamp and a habitat for 137 bird species as well as a few primates. Return for dinner and overnight at budget-Rwenzori View guest House BB, midrange-Mountains of the moon hotel BB, upgrade-Kibale Primate Lodge FB.
Day Eight: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park
After breakfast, drive to Murchison Falls National Park with packed lunch. Check into Red Chili Camp for dinner and overnight. Meal plan and accommodation bed only.
Day Nine: Murchison Falls National Park
Start the day with an early morning game drive on the Buligi, Delta tracks north of the river Nile. You are able to view those animals that are unique to the African Savannah like Giraffe, Antelope, Lion, Elephant, and the Uganda Kob. May also visit Nyamisika cliffs with picnic breakfast (optional).
After lunch, you will go for a launch cruise on the Nile River. The cruise takes you to the Bottom of the thundering falls where you will see huge Crocodiles, schools of Hippos, Buffaloes, Elephants and a variety
of water birds like Herons, Cormorants, Ducks, Bee-eaters, Kingfishers, Skimmers, Fish eagle and the rare Shoebill. Return for dinner and overnight at budget-Red Chili Camp bed only, midrange-Sambiya River Lodge BB, Paraa Safari Lodge FB.
Day 10: Transfer to Kampala
On this day before you leave the park, you take an optional drive to the “Top of the falls” for a breathtaking sight of the raging Nile as it forces its way through
a rocky gap barely six meters wide. This is the point where the Nile River explodes through a narrow gorge and cascades down to become a placid river. Proceed to Kampala with lunch en-route arriving in Kampala late in the afternoon.
