A short drive from Entebbe Airport brings you to the hotel, where your Into Africa Safari guide will warmly greet you. Enjoy a hearty meal and prepare for your adventure. Depending on your arrival time, you can explore local attractions like the Uganda Wildlife Education Centre or Botanical Gardens.
Your journey begins with a 3-hour drive to Jinja, the adrenaline hub of East Africa. Activities include white-water rafting, kayaking, and quad biking will be carried out, with opportunities to enjoy the serene surroundings of Lake Victoria and the Nile River.
Early morning breakfast and a scenic drive will lead to the magnificent Sipi Falls on the slopes of Mount Elgon. Surrounded by lush coffee plantations and trails, the area boasts a series of waterfalls up to 100 meters high. Enjoy a beautiful scenic view of Lake Kyoga, the Karamoja lowlands and coffee plantations. Hikes here can be demanding but a worthwhile experience.

After breakfast, the nature guided hike and community walk is not to be missed! We walk any one of the three trails: the Namugabwe Cave trail takes you to a historical cave filled with bones; the Dirigana Loop Trail leads to Dirigsana Falls and Gabushana Cave; on the Mt. Elgon coffee tour, hear the story of coffee ‘from seed to cup’ and learn the traditional art of roasting coffee and brewing beer from millet. After lunch at the lodge, transfer to Moroto in the Karamoja region to experience its unique culture and landscapes.
Dive into the culture of the Karamojong people, one of Uganda’s most traditional tribes. Visit a kraal to learn about their pastoral lifestyle, rituals, and traditions.
Head to Kidepo Valley National Park, a remote wilderness famed for its striking landscapes and wildlife diversity. Embark on an afternoon game drive in the Narus Valley.
After your early morning breakfast, we will set off for an exciting morning game drive to the scenic Kidepo valley savannah’s. Ready yourself for sights of lions, leopards, Burchell’s zebras, elephants, Kudus, Chandler’s reedbuck, dik-dik, hyenas, cheetah’s only existent here in Uganda, jackals and an extended drive to spot ostriches. Return to the lodge for lunch and thereafter proceed for a community walk among the Karamajong people. Explore their nomadic pastoralist lifestyle, cultural dances, tradition, crafts and grazing fields. Return to the lodge.
Journey to Murchison Falls National Park, renowned for its thundering waterfalls and abundant wildlife, including elephants, giraffes, and hippos.
After an early breakfast at 6:00am. we will go for a game drive that will leave you thrilled with amazing savannah plains and wildlife species such as warthogs, bushbuck, Defassa waterbuck, Bohor reedbuck, Oribis, Warthog, elephants, Uganda kob, Jackson’s hartebeest, buffalo, Rothschild’s giraffe, lions, leopards, giraffes, hyenas, among others. Early morning is the perfect time to spot the early risers before they return to their hideouts. At 11: 00 am return to the lodge for lunch, relax and head out for launch cruise at 3:00 pm to the base of the Falls. Watch out for hippos, crocodiles, hippos and breathtaking birdlife such as the Shoebill, African Spoonbill, Red-throated Bee eaters, Wire-tailed Swallow, White-crowned Plover, Rock Pratincole and Pel’s Fishing Owl. At the base of the Falls, (optional activity) take a 45-minute hike to the Top of the Falls for splendid views of Murchison Falls. Your driver guide will be waiting at the Top of the Falls to drive you back to the lodge.
Enjoy an early morning game drive followed by a boat safari along the Nile to the base of Murchison Falls, offering incredible views and encounters with wildlife.
After breakfast, travel to Entebbe and spend the day rest of the day relaxing by the lakeside in Entebbe as you prepare for the next day of your journey to South Sudan.
Fly and arrive in Juba, the capital of Africa’s youngest nation, where our Into Africa Safari team will welcome you at the airport. Juba is one of Africa’s fastest-growing cities. Depending on your arrival time, you might tour the city, which was a trading hub during the colonial era in the 1800s. Notable sites include the Konyokonyo market and the John Garang Museum, honoring South Sudan’s founding leader who tragically died in a plane crash just before independence.
After an early breakfast, begin your journey with Into Africa Safari to Terekeka, the heartland of the Mundari people. A five-hour drive brings you to Naivasha for lunch before proceeding to Nyikabor village, where you’ll camp in canvas tents and immerse yourself in Mundari traditions.
Spend the day exploring the culture of the Mundari, who are pastoralists deeply connected to their cattle. Visit small villages where scarification is practiced as a mark of prestige and learn how the Mundari use cattle for dowries and economic exchange.
Your adventure with Into Africa Safari concludes as your guide transfers you to Juba International Airport for your flight home.
