5 days adventure takes you to Mgahinga and Kahuzi Beiga National Park for primates. In Mgahinga for an mountain gorillas or golden monkey trekking experience. In Kahuzi Beiga for low land gorillas trekking experience and gorilla habituation center. A chance to stare closely at many astonishing giant gorillas and their families, how they associate and habit.
Meet our driver and set off to Mt. Mgahinga park through the hilly terrain and lush vegetation of Kigezi highlands to Kisoro. Arrive in Mgahinga forest in the evening and check in at the lodge to cool off and overnight stay.
Early in the morning, report to the headquaters set out for a mountain gorilla tracking expedition in the impenetrable forest for the endagered species. Trek for about 2 hourss till you see a gorilla family. Enjoy for an hour the company of the astonishing gorillas and return for lunch at the lodge. Have an evening community walk in the batwa villages depending on the energy levels. Return to the lodge before dusk.
Have breakfast and checkout of the lodge and travel to Kahuzi Beiga in D.R.Congo. Transfer to musanze in rwanda via cyanika border (optional).or continue through musanze to bukavu park entrance in Tshivanga (Congo). Arrive in the evening check in with Kahuzi Beiga park authorities. Transfer to your accommodation at the park.
Wake up and head to the park head quaters t where all Kahuzi Beiga treks start, get brieffed before trekking. Set out into Kahuzi Beiga forest, a home of the low land gorillas. Trek for an hour till you see a gorilla family. Enjoy for an hour the company of the astonishing gorillas and return for lunch at the camp. Have an evening community walk to interact with the locals or nature visit t and return to the camp before dusk.
Early in the morning, we transfer you to Kigali. Arrive in the evening just in time for you flight.
